Activities at the EECHere’s What’s Happening at the EEC!

The EEC Calendar below is kept up to date with registration deadlines, class dates and locations, open lab hours and more! Come back often to see what is happening at the EEC!

Knowledge and Skills to Advance

The Matthews House Education and Employment Center offers a variety of programming for our students.

Besides offering our tuition-based classes in Fort Collins, we also provide a set of introductory computer classes known as the iLearn Technology class series at the Loveland Public Library free to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Friends of the Loveland Public Library Foundation!

To learn more about the courses offered by the EEC and how to register, please visit our Class Information page.

Free Access to Computers and WiFi

We also offer open computer lab hours for EEC participants to come in and use the computers for homework, job-seeking, typing practice, research and more. Open lab use is an independent study setting, usually without a lab monitor, so please be prepared to work unassisted. In October 2015, the EEC Computer Lab updated all 12 student workstations to brand new computers loaded with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2016 applications.

Support to Succeed

Finally, we now offer Career Pathway Facilitation Services at the EEC. These individual guidance sessions are free of charge and include career pathway planning, assistance with identifying and accessing community resources, and personalized coaching and support to help students achieve their goals. Career Path Facilitators also work with local employers to match the needs of their open positions with students who are well-suited candidates for job placement.
