Income-Based, Flexible Payments.

Classes at the EEC vary in price by the type of class you wish to attend due to different supplies and materials costs. Additionally, tuition is charged on a sliding scale fee based on the Area Median Income (AMI) percentile your household income falls into. AMI is determined by income and household size.

For your reference, here is our Student Income and Tuition Worksheet that shows the different rates for our tuition. *If an agency is sponsoring a student’s tuition, the rate is our full tuition in the last column.

We do require students to pay a non-refundable $25 per class registration deposit to guarantee their spot in class. For students who will be paying their tuition with or without scholarship assistance, this deposit will be applied to your tuition balance due. For students who are being sponsored by another agency, the deposit will be returned to them upon successful completion of the course.

It may also be helpful for you to determine your AMI before you commit to attending a class. If you download our Household Composition and Income Calculator, there are formulas already plugged in to help you determine your annual household income and which AMI percentile you fall into.

Finally, please don’t let cost deter you from pursuing your career goals with the EEC! We offer flexible, no interest payment plans for students to pay their tuition in keeping with their budgets. Call today. You’ll be glad you did!

Free Child Activities While You Learn.

We also offer complimentary child activities during our Tuesday and Thursday classes. During morning classes, our child activities staff provide a snack for the children attending; for evening classes, we provide a nourishing meal for children who are attending. To ensure appropriate staffing, students must register their children before classes begin and notify the staff in advance if their child will be absent.
